Fact-check: “Matt Damon used a stunt lady in the movie the Odyssey”
Verdict: True (98% confidence)
Multiple independent primary sources confirm that Matt Damon used a female stunt double — Devyn Dalton, a 4-foot-6 Canadian stunt performer — for forced-perspective scenes in Christopher Nolan's 2026 film The Odyssey. Damon himself said on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, 'My double was a woman, a female stunt performer who had the greatest arms I've ever seen.' Dalton also publicly confirmed the role in her own first-person account. No contrary evidence was found.
